Scott and Heath were meeting the wedding planner in Seattle, on Jason’s jet currently. Scott was weirded out that he didn’t have to pay for anything but he was on his fifth orange juice anyway. He told himself that he was going to remind Jason that they were friends, not…

"We just haven’t in um, a while and I was a bit over excited and I didn’t mean to bite or grip your hips that hard." He said, putting his juice down to hold his hand.

"It’s fine, Scott." He repeated, "I enjoyed it as well so you really have nothing to worry about."

"You did?" Scott questioned, quirking his brows at him.

"Yeah, I mean, it hurt but it was a little exciting seeing you like that." Heath replied, looking back at him.

Scott blushed a bit, kissing the back of his hand. He opened his mouth to speak before his hands started to shake profusely. Scott swore under his breath, taking his hand back and sticking them between his own thighs to force both hands to still. “Sorry.”

Heath looked at him with concern. He leaned in and kissed Scott’s cheek, “You don’t need to apologise.”

Scott gave him a smile back in return before downing one of his pills to stop his shaking. He leaned his head on Heath’s shoulder, sighing. “I’m fine. I just hope it stops eventually so I can go to work again.”

Heath put a shoulder around Scott, “Are you going to be okay?”

"Hopefully." Scott responded. "I was just working on a case and it was going okay but then it just kind of spiraled and I didn’t want to be out in the field anymore because these guys that we were investigating were getting in my head and they were threatening me. They would time for threatening the police but they would get bail. We just needed evidence on them but then they started leaving things. Things directed at me, things they knew I would see. I kept a strong face at first but it just got harder, there was explosions. They told me they were going to bury me alive, yank out my hair and teeth, violent things. Fuck, I got letters addressed to me in fucking corpses. Finally, my coworker told my boss to suspend me because I just blanked out and shook for twenty minutes. I got leave from my other job because I was just… I was fucking terrified. I just wanted to feel safe. Now the case is closed and the people involved are either dead or imprisoned in high security but I’m still here with my nightmares and shaking. Sometimes I just let Damian take over me because I just want everything to be quiet." He explained somewhat bitterly, downing the rest of his juice. "I’m sorry. I’m not trying to shit on the wedding."

Heath nodded, “I know it’s been extremely hard for you.” He paused before hesistantly saying, “We can call the wedding off if you want.”

Scott looked at him. “That’s really sweet of you Heath, but unless you don’t want to marry me anymore, I’m fine. I’ll be fine. Other than nervous, I’ll be fine.” He replied, furrowing his brows.

"Okay, if there’s anything I can do to help, just ask." Heath replied.

Scott stared at him. “Kiss me then, Heathcliff.”

Text 1 Aug 14 notes Scott & Heath: || To Be Wed

Scott and Heath were meeting the wedding planner in Seattle, on Jason’s jet currently. Scott was weirded out that he didn’t have to pay for anything but he was on his fifth orange juice anyway. He told himself that he was going to remind Jason that they were friends, not sugar daddy and bitch. He glanced over at Heath. “I’m sorry about the party, again. I was a little more sloshed than intended.”

"Err, one sec." Heath quickly looked through the menu, "For starters, I’ll probably have the garlic bread. Do you want to get wine or anything like that?"

Scott opened his mouth to say he wasn’t allowed to drink before realizing he could and closing his mouth. “Um… I wouldn’t know what to get if we did.”

"Do you want me to order a bottle of something for you then?" Heath said as he saw the waiter approaching.

Scott shrugged. “Your choice, I don’t care.”

Heath nodded before ordering a bottle of white wine before asking Scott, “What are you going to have for your appetisers?”

"Soup. This spicy sausage one sounds good." Scott answered. "Is that okay?"

Heath nodded before ordering and the waiter left them alone again.

Scott raised his eyebrows. “You okay?”

"I’m fine." Heath responded, "Are you okay?"

Scott nodded. “Just nervous.”

Heath kissed Scott’s hand, “Don’t be, there’s nothing to worry about.”

Scott blushed. “I mean more the party. Jason put in together.”

"This is the first I’ve heard of this." Heath replied.

"Yeah, it’s in a warehouse? I made him promise no drugs or strippers." Scott replied.

The waiter arrived with the drinks and food as Heath laughed, “Well then.”

Scott blushed. “He promised! I wanted to cover my ground!”

"Alright." Heath smiled at Scott as he poured the wine into the glasses.

Scott blushed deeper, having a sip to hide his face.
